WHAT THIS WORK LOOKS LIKE

Under the Corporate Operational Technology Manager’s direction, you'll play a pivotal role in improving data integrity and visualization by integrating multiple data collection systems and implementing a new standardized system design across all of our manufacturing locations.


Once on board, you’ll work cross-departmentally to integrate our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), replacing our current paper based and manual systems. You’ll be traveling to different sites as needed, working with multiple stakeholders, to assist in the development, deployment, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the integration, as well as other Industry 4.0 initiatives. 


In short, you’ll be working with a team of IT and operations experts to integrate our manufacturing data systems and enable our organization to draw more accurate and valuable insights to grow the company.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • Minimum 2 years business operations experience (manufacturing or related industry)
  • Experience in data analytics and data mining
  • Understanding of LEAN principles



WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART

  • Manufacturing business operations experience
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • Knowledge of ERP (AS400)
  • Knowledge in Business Process Reengineering
  • Knowledge in Kepware Software



YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the deployment and maintenance (including recipe design, interface development, documentation, testing, and requirement gathering) of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in manufacturing and office environments.
  • Assist management and manufacturing on the efficient use of MES; provide technical input to help troubleshoot issues during usage and support end-users in navigation and general system utilization, ensuring users become self-sufficient.
  • Research business systems and applications to solve organizational problems and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Develop prototype and production Microsoft Apps and Power BI Reports, and Power Automate Flows.
  • Utilize Industry 4.0 technologies to create business process enhancements and improvements.
