About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at McLaren USA. As a key member of our operating room staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are properly disinfected and assembled.
  • Maintain the sterile field in the operating room, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide supportive care during the pre-operative phase, including preparing patients for surgery and monitoring vital signs.
  • Assist surgeons during procedures, passing sterile equipment and performing tasks as needed.
  • Transport patients after procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited surgical technology training program or LPN with OR experience.
  • One month of job-related experience and/or training.
  • BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in a medical setting.
  • Certification as a surgical technologist from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
