Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician I, you will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure the efficient upkeep of our properties. Your primary responsibilities will include managing apartment turnovers, performing repairs, and delivering outstanding service.

Key Duties:
  • Carry out apartment turnover tasks with accuracy.
  • Follow preventive maintenance guidelines diligently.
  • Respond to work orders promptly and courteously.
  • Operate and maintain various equipment for property upkeep.
  • Ensure the property grounds are clean and safe throughout the year.
  • Conduct regular inspections of units.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, vendors, and team members.
  • Participate in ongoing training through MRD Apartments University.
Essential Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience or training.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Strong customer service skills.
