Derek Lam 10 Crosby is seeking an AE to lead and manage our specialty wholesale business. The ideal candidate will help drive revenue growth by building a strong pipeline of SPS leads and helping create the market strategy. You will be responsible for establishing a strong relationship with new prospects as well as maintaining a relationship with existing accounts. Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will help you succeed as a Account Executive, SPS.


Location: Based in New York, NY (Hybrid Schedule)

Region: National

Salary Based on Experience: 100K + Bonus


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full management of selling to all national SPS accounts
  • Produce weekly selling reports
  • Develop and execute wholesale sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand brand presence new and existing
  • Cultivate and maintain established relationships by delivering top-tier sales and consultation services; be a trusted advisor
  • Manage orders, track inventory, and ensure shipment of orders to clients
  • Report weekly on inventory levels
  • Prepare market recaps ahead of buying appointments and business meetings
  • Conduct store visits, product knowledge seminars, and trunk shows
  • Execute and summarize events and client activities for the brand
  • Manage market appointments as well as internal and external follow-up
  • Collect and analyze client feedback
  • Contribute to team brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas for business growth
  • Manage market setup process for four seasons
  • Supervise the wholesale operations coordinator


SKILLS & QUALIFCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of related experience in wholesale sales. Must have SPS experience and relationships in the advanced contemporary market of women’s apparel
  • Joor NuOrder, Blue Cherry or equivalent proficient
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and robust analytical skills
  • Strong excel and power point skills are mandatory, with the ability to build comprehensive reports
  • People management experience
  • Proven track record of increasing sales
  • Influential and engaging verbal communication skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Agility and ability to react quickly with strong sense of urgency
  • Experienced in pursuing new business through strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel quarterly for business
