About the Role:

Jones Road Beauty is on the lookout for a dynamic Director of Growth Marketing to join our team. This role is designed for an experienced growth marketer who excels in executing strategic visions, particularly in the realm of paid media. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer, the ideal candidate will focus primarily on overseeing our paid social initiatives, with additional responsibilities across various channels including TV, Direct Mail, and Paid Search. As a blend of individual contributor (IC) and manager, you will not only lead but also directly engage in hands-on campaign management, embodying a dual role that demands both tactical execution, strategy, analysis, and leadership.


What You’ll Do:


Paid Media Expertise: Act as the primary lead for paid social campaigns, optimizing strategies to maximize towards contribution margin. Oversee media buying, measurement, and creative strategy to manage performance to contribution margin goals Primary digital channels are Meta, Youtube, TikTok, and Google. Your role will extend to supporting additional channels under the guidance of the Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer, ensuring cohesive execution across the board.


Team Leadership & Management: Lead the growth marketing team, which includes growth marketing, a growth creative pod, and external agencies. You’ll provide strong leadership with clear guidance and high performanc expectations to ensure your teams aligns with the company's growth and profitability goals.


Strategy Execution: Work closely with the Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer to execute on a range of strategic initatives. These may include running geo-lift experiments, landing page testing, launching or scaling new channels, and analyzing media performance using JRBs combination of experiments, MMM, attribution, and financial performance. While the strategy will be mostly provided, your role will be crucial in turning these plans into reality, ensuring effective execution across the growth marketing team.


Analytical Approach: Utilize advanced analytics to monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance. Your ability to interpret data and apply insights will drive continuous improvement and strategic refinement across all initiatives.


Hybrid Role Dynamics: Navigate the dual aspects of your role with agility, shifting between managerial responsibilities and individual contributions as needed. Your versatility will be key in driving both team success and direct performance


What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a focus on paid social platforms. Experience in other paid media channels is a plus, such as Paid Search, Youtube, TV, and Direct Mail.
  • Demonstrated capability in leading marketing teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and high performance.
  • Expertise in executing paid media strategies, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in marketing analytics and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of executing complex strategies with precision.
  • A blend of creative and analytical thinking, able to tackle challenges with innovative solutions while maintaining a data-driven approach.
