Affiliated Monitoring is one of the largest providers of Burglary, Fire and Life Safety alarm monitoring services in North America.

We are currently hiring a Technical Operations Analyst to join our team. In this dynamic role, you'll work on optimizing our alarm processing systems. You'll collaborate with our Technology, Support, and Alarm Monitoring teams to build and maintain workflows and automated processes for unique customer needs and develop clear procedures for smooth operations.


By supporting our automation platforms, you'll directly influence our ability to improve processes and launch innovative features. We're looking for a hands-on team player to tackle challenges, problem-solve, collaborate with internal teams, and has the technical acumen to assist clients as they implement their monitoring solutions.


This position is an in-office role based at our Headquarters in Union, New Jersey.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop into a Subject Matter Expert for our Alarm Monitoring Platform.
  • Develop solutions for workflow requirements and execute changes to the automation platform.
  • Perform functionality testing and execute configuration changes across various platforms.
  • Assist with system upgrades, table maintenance, training, data entry, file uploads, report creation.
  • Troubleshoot/report issues for various cross-functional teams and collaborate with Vendors/IT.
  • Evolve into an escalated resource for internal technical support.
  • Assist in evaluating and integrating new products and services.


What You Need for This Role

  • 2+ years scripting experience.
  • 2+ years in an IT or Helpdesk environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to work independently based on team initiatives.
  • Can document and adhere to established business processes.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills are imperative.
  • Strong process management skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
