As a Quantum Engineer, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, working on designing, developing, and testing quantum devices and RF quantum control systems. You will have the chance to collaborate with a diverse team of experts, contributing to the development of the world's first useful quantum computer.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement RF quantum control systems.
  • Conduct comparative analysis of RF control and measurement hardware/software.
  • Engage in mixed signal RF design, prototyping, and commissioning of RF subsystems for solid-state qubits.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in fabrication, measurement, architecture, and systems to meet requirements.
  • Evaluate factors like reporting formats, cost constraints, and security needs to determine product roadmaps.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8-10 years of experience in the field.
  • Master’s or PhD degree in physics or engineering.
  • Expertise in RF measurement, microwave and antenna design, and system design of superconducting microwave systems.
  • Proficiency in simulation/CAD tools such as HFSS, CST, ADS, EAGLE, Altium, COMSOL, MATLAB, Python, and AutoCAD Inventor.
  • Knowledge of solid-state device physics and quantum computer control architectures.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


TOP 3 SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • RF Measurement: Full system characterization using network, spectrum and signal analyzer, signal generator, phase noise analyzer, noise figure meter, oscilloscope, compact antenna test range (CATR) and near-field antenna chamber. Design and implementation of test fixtures for automated manufacturing | at least 8 years of experience
  • Microwave and antenna design: Design, simulation, and implementation of waveguide, CPW, Stripline, and microstrip components, including filters, power combiners, couplers, phase shifters, orthomode transducers, phased array antennas, and lens antennas.| at least 8 years of experience
  • System Design of room-temperature and cryogenic superconducting microwave systems.| at least 8 years of experience
  • Ability to evaluate FPGA and Microcontroller components suitable for cryogenic quantum device test, control, and measurement.| at least 8 years of experience
  • Simulation/CAD including ability to use tools such as HFSS, CST, ADS, EAGLE, Altium, COMSOL, MATLAB, Python, AutoCAD Inventor| at least 8 years of experience
