Business Administrator

mPower is looking for a well-rounded Business Administrator to join our team. Our team consists of experts and professionals who have experience in management, administration, consulting, and technology. This position seeks to implement positive mission-oriented change, to deliver tangible operational results, and to build and continuously improve the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage projects for company-wide initiatives.
- Develop systems for information compilation, data analytics and decision making.
- Assist in the creation of key performance indicators and make recommendations on areas of improvement.
- Identifying, addressing, and solving core issues with business processes using industry best practices.
- Keeping meetings focused and ensuring the communications to the team are timely and feedback is captured and recorded.
- Support C-Suite staff on special projects; track and monitor activities to ensure timely results including calendar management.
- Steer strategic business initiatives from concept to completion.
- Support back-office business operations in finance and contracts.
- Preparing C-Suite staff for meetings and providing them with topical information.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience, which can include internships.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (2 or more years of experience can substitute degree requirements).
- Experience working in the government contracting field and familiarity with working in the biomedical research industry.
- Proven track record for generating improved organizational performance.
- Proven track record supporting C-Suite staff.
- Demonstrated proficiency with common productivity software such as Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter and quick learner with the initiative and ability to work independently and develop new skills.
