Peachybbies is an ecommerce company in the toy industry which specializes in social media content. We have over 15 million followers combined on all platforms, pulling in 300 million+ views each month, primarily from our short form content on Youtube and Tiktok. Our headquarters is based in Austin Texas where we manufacture and fulfill all orders in house. We have seen tremendous growth the past 3 years from our organic content engine and are now looking to scale our paid acquisition channels.

JOB DESCRIPTION


PeachyBbies is on the lookout for a seasoned Director of Growth to lead our growth marketing initiatives for revenue and profit growth. As a pivotal member of our team, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing comprehensive growth strategies across various digital channels, with a focus on paid social advertising & creative strategy, conversion rate optimization, and offer testing as primary drivers. With your proven track record of success, you will play a critical role in propelling our brand forward and maximizing profitable growth.

We are open to candidates nationwide but are currently prioritizing those who are located in or willing to relocate to our headquarters in Austin


RESPONSIBILITIES


Growth Strategy

  • Develop a cohort-based revenue growth model to show how paid media spend, CAC, retention, and AOV will drive new customers and revenue scenarios
  • Drive creative strategy on paid social ad videos, analyzing performance, researching and keeping up to date with trends, and communicating with in-house creative teams
  • Clearly communicate growth strategies, spend scenarios, and the impact they’ll have on business performance
  • Plan media budgets across channels, optimizing for profitable scale and new customer acquisition
  • Define KPIs and contribution margin targets that allow you to determine when to scale and pull-back on spend
  • Own the paid and CRO experiments roadmap, with clear documentation around upcoming tests and past winning tests
  • Drive A/B testing initiatives to optimize ad performance, website conversion, and offer offer strategy to drive revenue and profit growth
  • Effectively own advertising budgets, forecasting, and goal-setting aligned with direct-to-consumer (DTC) revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Customer Acquisition

  • Lead and oversee the growth marketing function, including paid search & shopping, paid social, affiliate programs, search engine optimization (SEO), influencer partnerships, and performance-based collaborations.
  • Identify and seize opportunities for expansion into new acquisition channels to diversify and scale our customer base effectively.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimize campaign performance and drive efficiency in customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, return on ad spend (ROAS), and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Develop and execute innovative paid social media advertising strategies, managing a substantial monthly media budget to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth.
  • Refine and test on-site offers, landing pages, and website optimizations increase conversion rate (CR), increase average order value (AOV), and reduce CAC. Understand which offers and changes drive which metrics and how they impact the forecast.


Measurement


  • Demonstrate a strong command of analytics tools and platforms, including GA4, to extract actionable insights and make informed decisions to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Define a plan for measurement, evaluating the right tools for the right stage of growth for an omnichannel business (i.e., MMM or geo-lift experiments).
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns, from creative development to performance analysis.


Leadership


  • Establish and nurture relationships with agencies, vendors, and key stakeholders to support campaign objectives and drive results.
  • Develop and hire key team members are the business grows, optimizing for efficiency and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the retention marketing team to drive revenue impact from other channels.
  • Educate and inspire cross-functional partners to contribute to business growth in areas that aren’t directly owned by you.


Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing roles within high-growth digitally native consumer brands, with a demonstrated track record of driving 100%+ year-over-year growth through strategic initiatives.
  • Proven track-record of managing a $1M+/mo budget for a direct-to-consumer CPG ecommerce brand. 
  • Expertise in performance marketing, with a focus on paid social advertising platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, etc.
  • Proficiency in advertising platforms, analytics tools, and data-driven decision-making, with a strong understanding of 3rd party pixels, cookies, audience segmentation, and 1st party data management.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, agencies, and vendor relationships to achieve business objectives.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passionate about staying ahead of industry trends and driving innovation in digital marketing and growth strategies.
