Job Summary - full-time, remote role requires occasional travel.


The ideal candidate will bring a background in business development within clinical research.

Note: This role is not open to candidates residing in New York City, Chicago, California, Colorado, or Washington State.


Responsibilities

  • Identify, build, and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and contract research organizations.
  • Drive business growth by securing new opportunities in site-based, hybrid, and decentralized clinical trials.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Represent their Clinical Research Division at industry events and conferences, highlighting our services and expertise.
  • Use CRM tools to track progress and manage relationships to ensure client satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in sales within the clinical research sector, with a proven record of initiating and closing deals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with strong lead generation skills and effective sales strategy development.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and CRM systems.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; relevant experience and qualifications will also be considered.
  • 1-2 years of experience in clinical research, site networks, CROs, pharmaceuticals, or related sales roles, with the skills and knowledge necessary for success.
