Position Overview:

Ascension Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a leading lighting retailer to find an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager. While direct experience in the lighting industry is not required, a strong background in retail operations and sales management is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales performance, managing multi-store operations, and developing high-performing teams within a retail environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Leadership: Drive regional sales performance through effective leadership, coaching, and management of store managers and sales teams.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the operational efficiency of multiple retail locations, ensuring consistent execution of sales strategies, merchandising, and customer service standards.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor store managers and sales associates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets, aligning with overall company goals.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to optimize sales performance.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure a superior customer experience across all stores, addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and analyses, using data to drive decisions and improve sales outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail sales management, preferably with experience managing multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, driving sales performance and achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and strategy.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Flexibility to travel within the region as required.
