Overview: Our reputable client is seeking an experienced and analytical Inventory Control Analyst to join their team in Miami. This role is critical in ensuring accurate inventory management across multiple warehouse locations, including oversight of pickers and reconciliation processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Direct Warehouse Pickers:

  • Instruct pickers in each warehouse, arriving 2 hours before picking starts, on what to count and when.
  • Potentially oversee a full-time report and coordinate pickers in smaller locations.

Inventory Reconciliations:

  • Perform floor-to-system and system-to-floor reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.

Spot Checks and Physical Counts:

  • Supervise and conduct spot checks, dedicating at least 20% of time to physical counting to ensure statistical significance.

Lead Inventory Efforts:

  • Manage inventory tasks both administratively and on the ground, including PNC, BDO, BIA, etc.

Product Oversight:

  • Oversee product rotation, FIFO, expirations, repacking processes, returns, and more.

Discrepancy Investigations:

  • Conduct investigations when discrepancies arise, utilizing systems, cameras, and other tools.

System Adjustments:

  • Make necessary adjustments in the inventory system based on findings and reconciliations.

Manage Incoming Products and Transfers:

  • Oversee the receipt of incoming products and their transfer between locations.


Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor, picker, or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in an inventory control position.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Adequate computer proficiency.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management processes.

Attributes:

  • Willingness to conduct spot checks, audits, and hands-on inventory tasks.
  • Ability to lead and manage inventory efforts effectively.


Work Environment: The Inventory Control Analyst will spend no more than 1/3 of their time counting physical inventory in the warehouse, with a significant focus on analytical and administrative responsibilities.
