Who We Are Looking For:

Our engineering roles are dynamic, offering extensive benefits, competitive pay, and a highly rewarding environment. Engineers work closely with the design, supply, specifying, and construction communities to effectively select, produce, place, and use ready-mixed concrete utilizing current and emerging technologies. We seek individuals who are passionate about applying their technical skills to solve challenges ranging from simple to complex.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and support to our Engineering Service Center (ESC) on requests for design, materials, pavement, and concrete construction recommendations.
  • Lead and facilitate training and certification activities with team members in nationally accredited programs.
  • Assist regional Promotion Directors with technical marketing, development, and education activities.
  • Support members through technical assistance and troubleshooting for applications, concrete production, materials, construction, and post-construction issues.
  • Actively engage with national, state, and local materials committees on current concrete materials research and new innovations.
  • Maintain and update technical documents to stay current with industry trends, publications, standards, and specifications.


Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of concrete and materials technology in design, production, and construction; experience in concrete materials or a construction background is a plus.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to achieve this once eligible.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong technological skills.
  • Advanced decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Physically fit for construction site visits and capable of managing trade shows.
  • Outgoing, personable, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a close and dynamic team environment.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel statewide, including occasional overnight stays.
