We are seeking a strong Marketing & Client Experience Coordinator whose job is to support the Director of Marketing by executing the marketing strategy and providing superior customer service to the firm’s prospects, clients, and team members. This is a full-time, in-person role in Ann Arbor, MI. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of office, marketing or sales experience and be able to perform tasks such as event planning, handling calls, calendar and database management and welcoming clients to the office. This team member will be instrumental in ensuring clients have the most memorable experience with our office.


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate superb marketing and analytical skills. We are seeking an individual who can plan, execute, and iterate campaigns to drive engagement, qualify leads and create opportunities. A sharp phone presence with excellent listening skills, a love for the phones and the ability to build rapport with our prospects and clients are a must. We’re looking for a go-getter that is great at asking in-depth questions and getting our prospects engaged


This individual will execute email marketing, social media marketing, lead nurturing, direct mail, telemarketing, coordinate speaking engagements and coordinate client events.


Minimum Requirements:

-         The desire to work long-term in the financial industry

-         3+ years of experience in a marketing/sales role

-         Industry knowledge/experience preferred

-         Experience with MS Office and the ability to learn new software quickly


This position required that you possess the following skills:

-         Strong ability to execute online and offline marketing campaigns and sharp eye for detail

-         High degree of creativity and very strong work ethic

-         Very strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel skills

-         Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a great sense of humor

-         Proven ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks on schedule

-         Exceptional phone skills

-         Provide outstanding client service


Position Responsibilities:

-         Assist Director of Marketing with marketing strategy execution

-         Assist in the coordination of various client events, ordering event supplies, and creating promotional material

-         Follow up with attendees of client events and seminars

-         Greet clients and answer phones in a friendly, warm manner

-         Record notes from client conversation in an accurate manner

-         Enter and maintain database of clients and prospects

-         Maintain the office environment in immaculate and organized condition

-         Prioritize daily tasks to be proactive in time management

-         General back up support for all other positions, consisting of varied tasks as need
