Position Overview:


This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring construction projects across the country to ensure they are completed in accordance with established standards. This position will mostly focus on working with general contractors to create and track project budgets, while simultaneously building relationships with financial partners for the timely funding of construction projects. This role will interface with company leadership as we execute the growth plan of Olympus Pines.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Creates cost estimates for new projects, monitors job costs, evaluates change orders and controls the cost of work in progress to budget
  • Process RFI’s, change orders, project e-mails, plans, equipment release forms, transmittals, etc.
  • Monitor labor/material/sub-contractor costs and budgets
  • Follow up with general contractors on progress of each project
  • Ensure that project contracts, bids and governmental development applications are completed and filed on time
  • AR/AP for Subcontractors: Track, manage, and process purchase orders and invoices
  • Work closely with consultants and vendors to coordinate and track project documents
  • Manage construction projects with competing timelines from conception to completion
  • Track and analyze project flow and outcomes to prepare future reports and identify improvements
  • Assists with all facets of the construction process, rendering decision on workflow, production planning and control, material and labor cost control
  • Supports Construction team and leadership team with coordination of projects and prioritization

Role Qualifications:

  • Commercial construction experience preferred
  • Finance experience/education preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree of equivalent work experience required
  • Strategic mindset with ability to drive multiple priorities with accuracy
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Microsoft Excel intermediate skill level
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of the organization to develop trusted partnerships with business leaders
  • Must be located in Salt Lake City, Utah and able to work in a hybrid work environment
  • Minimum two years of experience in project coordination/office administration
  • Experience interacting with multiple corporate stakeholders
  • Excellent writing skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deliverables, and competing timelines
