Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee heavy civil program management with a focus on critical analysis.
  • Organize and direct all phases of project activities from budget initiation to final closeout.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects, including Work In Progress (WIP) processes for accurate cost projections and reporting.
  • Utilize MS Office proficiently; familiarity with HCSS Heavy Job software is advantageous.
  • Coordinate schedules, resources, and material procurement for diverse projects.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned projects with a commitment to high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Address and resolve client concerns through effective negotiation.
  • Monitor field operations and progress, providing reports on productivity relative to budget.
  • Estimate and negotiate project change orders as necessary.
  • Maintain project documentation, including Requests for Information (RFIs), Supplemental Information (SIs), and review of drawings and specifications.
  • Oversee project closeout and warranty processes effectively.
  • Manage project engineers and support staff efficiently.
  • Travel as required for project needs (expenses covered).
  • A degree in Construction Management or Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in civil construction is preferred.
