Foster Parent Recruitment Specialist

As our Foster Parent Recruitment Specialist, you will act as our representative at regional events, professional organizations, and in the community. You will attend events to network, educate on the need for foster/adoptive parents, and develop relationships to attain potential foster parents. Through the use of social media, professional organizations, our Maple Star website, and other networking sites, you will advertise the need for foster parents, and gauge the success from each. This position utilizes your interpersonal skills to market a community need, especially within specialized populations such as youth, LGBTQ+, high needs youth, and medically fragile children.

  • Part Time, 20-29 hours/week- flexible schedule

Does the following apply to you?
  • Bachelors' Degree in Social Service or a related field
  • 2 years or more of recruitment/marketing, or foster care experience - Preference in Human relations, Social services, Behavioral/Social sciences, Non-profit, Education, or Child Development fields
  • Experience within the foster care system & knowledge of Vol. 7 Colorado State Rules and Regulations- preferred
  • Valid Driver's license with clean record and current auto insurance
  • Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
  • SAFE Certified *can be completed upon hire
