Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support their expanding "group" structure with newly launched "label" subsidiaries.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $49 to $52 per hour.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Maintain monthly reporting on actual and forecasted development costs on a project-by-project basis
  • Key involvement with month-end close, including journal posting and producing monthly P&L's for review by management
  • Preparing variance analysis on all overhead costs to ensure correct allocation of expenses across the labels
  • Taking the lead on preparing balance sheet reconciliations for review by management
  • Assisting in the 5-Year Plan/Budget/Forecast process by providing thorough overhead analysis
  • Contribute towards internal and external audits by coordinating information requests
  • Assist the tax department in their preparation of tax accounts by providing closing financial statements
  • Read and analyze contracts for deals covering development and production projects
  • Perform ad hoc projects and additional responsibilities as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • On the pathway to CPA or already qualified preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Accounting within the entertainment industry
  • Strong background in General Ledger, Month End Close, US GAAP, Financial Reporting in a multi company environment
  • Experience in Oracle and/or large ERP experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and computer skills (Google Mail, Google Docs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
