Job Description

Administrative Assistant
  • $19.75 per hour
  • Located on site in Mendota Heights, MN
  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Administrative Adminwill cooperatively work with all staff in expediting the general flow of matters pertaining to the office, including, but not limited to reception, general office, and clerical duties. This position comes with lots of autonomy, with the opportunity to work independently with little direction.
  • They handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails, and phone calls, often serving as the first point of contact for the organization.
  • Employee communication
  • They manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities, ensuring a well-organized and functional workspace
  • Working with leadership and other business units on a variety of assigned projects
  • They keep files and documents organized, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED Certificate.
  • Minimum of three years of business education, business training, or administrative secretarial experience.
  • Minimum typing skills of 75 wpm.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills to set priorities and meet timelines.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information.
  • Solid computer skills in MS Office Word, Excel to create spreadsheets; and knowledge of Access software.
  • Proficient transcription and/or minute taking skills.
  • Writing skills must reflect correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, composition, quality, and fluent vocabulary.
  • Verbal skills must include clarity, professionalism, and personable.
  • Ability to accurately process information.
  • Process information with confidence, flexibility, initiative, and self-directedness. Have the ability to maturely deal with unexpected demands and incidents.
  • System development and management skills, including the ability to evaluate successful systems and recommend changes, when needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels within the organization and community.
