Job Summary

The Night Auditor is a critical role at Fairfield Mendota Heights, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for guests during the overnight shift, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience.

Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Auditing and Reporting: Conduct thorough audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records. Prepare and distribute daily reports, including revenue summaries and other key performance indicators.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct regular security walks to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff. Maintain a high level of awareness and respond promptly to any security incidents.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Provide excellent communication and customer service skills to guests and colleagues alike.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing software. Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework in a related field, such as hospitality or accounting, is highly desirable.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a strong background in auditing and financial management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
