Director of Process Chemistry and Business Innovation
Location
New York/Boston/San Diego/San Francisco/New Jersey, USA.
Your Role
- Lead a remote team of chemists in scaling up intermediates, RSMs, and APIs.
- Optimize processes for safety, quality, and efficiency through collaboration with internal teams.
- Utilize technical expertise and business acumen for effective client communication.
- Engage with potential and existing clients to demonstrate capabilities, identify opportunities, and foster connections.
- Represent the company professionally at conferences and industry events.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and client data.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary.
- Execute other assigned responsibilities.
Required Skills
- PhD in organic chemistry or a related field.
- Prior experience in technical operations within the pharmaceutical or CDMO sector.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry practices.
- Ability to multitask efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for client, peer, and external interactions.
- Capacity to work independently in a remote setup.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ICH guidelines and GMP operations.
- Strategic thinking ability for problem-solving and business planning.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
