Job Title:
UICC Engineer


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with SIM manufacturers and eSIM providers to optimize eSIM profile features for Dish 5G network
  • Specify, review, and validate eSIM profile and eUICC applet contents and functionalities
  • Contribute to a specialized team of UICC and eSIM experts
  • Work closely with internal and external teams on SIM-OTA and Remote SIM Provisioning
  • Manage relationships with UICC manufacturers like Thales, G+D, and Idemia
  • Lead the team in specifying and implementing eSIM profile contents and eUICC applets
  • Collaborate across teams to streamline SIM and device configurations for a universal SKU
  • Define and implement SIM-OTA campaigns for eSIM profile updates such as roaming or sponsored roaming file updates

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in SIM-based authentication and connected product development through launch is essential
  • Prior experience with SIM test tools and ADPU logging
  • Passion for working with new technologies in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Fully engaged, serving as a persistent advocate for your teams and their objectives
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization through verbal and written means

Education and Experience:
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business, or equivalent OR equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in SIM technology and commercial product deployments
  • 1+ years of experience in mobile product certification processes
  • Knowledge of industry-leading practices such as regulatory requirements and standards roadmaps

Compensation:
$72,400.00/Year - $110,000.00/Year
