Job Title:
UICC Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SIM manufacturers and eSIM providers to optimize eSIM profile features for Dish 5G network
- Specify, review, and validate eSIM profile and eUICC applet contents and functionalities
- Contribute to a specialized team of UICC and eSIM experts
- Work closely with internal and external teams on SIM-OTA and Remote SIM Provisioning
- Manage relationships with UICC manufacturers like Thales, G+D, and Idemia
- Lead the team in specifying and implementing eSIM profile contents and eUICC applets
- Collaborate across teams to streamline SIM and device configurations for a universal SKU
- Define and implement SIM-OTA campaigns for eSIM profile updates such as roaming or sponsored roaming file updates
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in SIM-based authentication and connected product development through launch is essential
- Prior experience with SIM test tools and ADPU logging
- Passion for working with new technologies in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Fully engaged, serving as a persistent advocate for your teams and their objectives
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization through verbal and written means
Education and Experience:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business, or equivalent OR equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of experience in SIM technology and commercial product deployments
- 1+ years of experience in mobile product certification processes
- Knowledge of industry-leading practices such as regulatory requirements and standards roadmaps
Compensation:
$72,400.00/Year - $110,000.00/Year
