Description

Summary

The Community Life Manager is responsible for ensuring access to quality community activities which includes community integration. This position supports two day program facilities. This position is also responsible for increasing awareness of day program services for the (Intellectual Developmental Disability) IDD community.

Essential Functions

Partners with the Director of Community Life to establish policies and procedures for Community Access Group (CAG) and Community Access Integration (CAI).

Establishes and maintains relationships with other agencies and organizations in the community to promote brand awareness.

Educates the community i.e. Transition fairs about IDD services and the process for approval of services.

Liaison between family members and InCommunity regarding communication concerning the individuals we support.

Establishes a network and nurtures relationships with community partners such as local sponsors and vendors.

Responsible for increasing the number of individuals attending the day program.

Ensures adequate staff are in the facilities by actively participating in the hiring process, i.e. interviewing potential candidates for vacant positions.

Completes and submits billing for services provided to the individuals we support.

Attends Individual Support Plan (ISP) meetings to review goals of the individuals, annually.
