Responsible for delivering support to the Shared Service Center Accounts Payable Function, serving as the key liaison between the Onshore and Offshore Functions. Principal Responsibilities:

Shared Services Process Expert Supporting Issue Escalation and Closure
  • Advise and provide subject matter expertise on SAP Invoice Interface Errors to Onshore and Offshore resources.
  • Coordinate with IS teams in identifying and resolving system issues related to Interface Error Processing as raised by the Shared Services team and Messer Stakeholders.
  • Guide and support Coupa/SAP Testing.
  • Lead recurring meetings with the SSC AP Team to address activities/Issue resolution.
Policy/Procedure Compliance
  • Monitor Coupa Invoice Status Development Report Backlog.
  • Advise on Interface Error Report Backlog.
  • Coordinate timely processing of Special Request Forms in Coupa.
  • Monitor execution of the Coupa Upload Form.
  • Direct the Shared Services Team on SAP Recurring Payment Activities.
  • Monitor timely execution of Manual Invoice EDI Processes.
  • Advise on Inter Company SOA Analysis
Cash Management
  • Monitor Down Payment Reporting.
  • Coordinate AP Debit Balance activities.
  • Provide guidance to Messer Stakeholders to facilitate the timely recovery of duplicate or incorrect Supplier Payments.
Audit Support
  • Ensure adherence to required controls and standards.
  • Lead external audit coordination activities related to accounts payable and invoice to pay processes with the Shared Services team by ensuring deliverables are met in a timely manner and with quality.
  • Advise and lead resolution of audit queries and escalations raised by the Shared Services team.
Manage WNS Contract Compliance
  • Gain knowledge and mastery of Shared Services contract terms and commercial language, supporting the Accounting Operations Manager with contract governance activities.
  • Ensure key contractual deliverables are delivered timely.
  • Monitor and validate that vendor invoicing follow Messer policy and procedures.
  • Monitor monthly SLA and performance reporting to ensure contract compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Operations Manager to determine, mitigate, and address contract value leakages.
  • Support the Accounting Operations Manager in monitoring, reporting, and closure of program level issues related to service delivery or contractual deliverables.
Other
  • Assist with departmental requests and provide guidance on Procure to Pay End to End Testing.
  • Work cross functionally to assist in trouble shooting and resolving issues.
  • Support Adhoc reporting and analysis, projects and other activities as defined by Manager.
Leadership
  • Support SSC and Messer functions to ensure optimum work processes are followed.
  • Create a positive relationship with key Stakeholders.
  • Maintain cross-functional communication and collaboration within the SSC Functions.
  • Influence up / down stream processes with Leaders, Peers, and other Functions
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of SAP P2P End to End Work Processes.
  • Familiarity with Accounting, AP compliance and governance controls.
  • Knowledge of Coupa System and Invoice Processing.
  • Knowledge of Coupa Invoice and PO Data Screens.
  • System and business process integration experience
  • SAP Integration and AP Processing experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP Invoice Processing and Payments Processing.
  • Knowledge of and experience in processing SAP Interface Errors.
  • SAP Knowledge on running Reports and Excel Data Downloads
  • Experience in reviewing Purchase Orders in SAP

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration
  • 5 - 10 years' Shared Service Center experience in executing tasks, leading SSC teams in achieving, fostering Service Level compliance, work process documentation and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Shared Service Center Organization and structure.
  • Prior Shared Service Center contract administration and compliance experience.
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Processes Experience
  • Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge in using Excel.
