Position Summary:

This pivotal role guarantees that our products are safe, consistent, and of superior quality. The analyst will collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with all food safety and quality regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Analyst, your main responsibilities will include: 1. Ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations concerning food safety and quality, including FDA, USDA, and other pertinent guidelines.

  • Conducting routine swab and ATP testing to monitor cleanliness and safety throughout the production process.
  • Establishing and maintaining Quality Control (QC) systems to ensure product consistency and quality.
  • Participating in regular audits, both internal and external, and taking necessary actions based on audit results.
  • Collaborating with the production team to address any food safety or quality issues, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Training personnel on food safety and quality protocols, ensuring that all team members are knowledgeable and compliant with these standards.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current best practices in food safety and quality.
  • Managing and addressing customer complaints regarding product quality, working to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Quality Assurance and Food Safety Analyst position will possess: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a food safety or quality assurance capacity within the manufacturing sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of FDA, USDA, and other food safety and quality regulations.
  • Expertise in conducting swab and ATP tests.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining QC systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
