Job Duties:

  • Participates in engagements related to PCI, data security, compliance, and governance frameworks, and IT controls assessments
  • Assesses compliance and governance needs based on standard programs to align with business objectives
  • Gains insight into clients' risk management frameworks and business environments
  • Identifies technical concerns and provides recommendations for resolution
  • Creates assessment reports, including gap analysis and potential solutions
  • Prepares presentations for client meetings
  • Assists in remediation planning and defines client requirements for various frameworks such as PCI, ISO, NIST, and CIS
  • Attends client meetings, documents technical interviews, and maintains records
  • Builds and sustains relationships with client personnel
  • Manages time efficiently to handle multiple project requests and monitors associated risks
  • Available for travel when required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Accounting, or Finance

Experience:

Two or more years of experience in IT controls, Cybersecurity (NIST or CIS), HIPAA, PCI, or security compliancePreferably prior exposure to national consulting firms or professional services

License(s)/Certification(s):

Preferably holds security certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or other relevant certificationsPreferred certifications include AWS Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft 365 Certified

Software:

Experience with AWS, Google Virtual Private Cloud, Microsoft cloud services, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Visio

Language(s):

Ability to communicate in multiple languages (reading, speaking, and writing)

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Effective communication across various organizational levels
  • Capacity to establish and maintain strong relationships with both BDO and client personnel
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities
  • Excellent multitasking skills in independent and team settings
  • Applied knowledge of technologies encompassing data mapping, risk assessments, third-party risk management, compliance tracking, and security controls management
