Position Overview:

  • The Senior Construction Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in overseeing construction project awards and providing essential support services. This position collaborates with a team of architects and is guided by the Construction Management Chief.
  • This contract position has the potential for extension based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and evaluating Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Preparing cost estimates and managing budget constraints
  • Assessing project timelines and performance periods
  • Evaluating liquidated damages
  • Documenting recovered materials and green procurement practices
  • Conducting design and construction reviews, site inspections, and meetings
  • Addressing inquiries and requests for clarification
  • Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) standards are met
  • Managing submittals and progress reports
  • Facilitating contract modifications and project closeout
  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a degree in architecture or engineering with a diverse background.
  • Relevant experience in the tasks outlined above is essential.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite are necessary.
  • Excellent communication abilities to foster client relationships and teamwork.
  • Preferred qualifications include an architecture license and familiarity with project management software.
  • Security Clearance and Non-Disclosure Agreement will be required upon hiring.
