Payroll/Timekeeping Manager Position Summary
The Payroll/Timekeeping Manager is responsible for managing and supporting all payroll and timekeeping functions. This position ensures the accurate production of the bi-weekly payroll process including review of payroll registers, deduction registers, payroll corrections, adjustments, manual checks, payroll reconciliation, and Federal/State filings. Assists Director of Accounting in the preparation of journal entries, financial statements, and requirements of the public accounting firm during audit. The Manager monitors, coordinates, and evaluates data to ensure an efficient and effective operation. This position works closely with the People Department and partners with departmental leaders to support timekeeping functions.
Payroll/Timekeeping Manager Position Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Minimum of three years of payroll and timekeeping experience with two years in a position of supervisory or leader responsibility
- Experience with implementation and/or maintenance of payroll and/or timekeeping systems
- At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
