Sales Floor Coordinator

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, ensuring that our core values and guiding principles are integrated into all store activities. This includes overseeing sales operations, safeguarding assets, and managing human resources functions to deliver an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performance Management:
- Evaluates sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement effective sales strategies.
- Sets clear expectations and holds the store team accountable for meeting brand standards and performance metrics.
- Manages payroll and inventory budgets efficiently.
- Oversees essential operational tasks such as scheduling, shrink audits, inventory management, and payroll documentation.
- Ensures compliance with financial policies, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Conducts training to reinforce loss prevention policies and operational procedures.
- Administers inventory processes, including receipt and dispatch, and ensures merchandise levels are maintained.
- Maintains visual merchandising standards and store organization reflective of the brand.
- Fosters a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to achieve sales and productivity targets.
- Provides training and coaching to enhance product knowledge among the sales team.
Team Development:
- Inspires and motivates the store team, cultivating a shared vision while exemplifying core values.
- Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Communicates effectively with the store team and Store Manager to drive positive changes.
- Seeks opportunities for personal development and actively seeks feedback to enhance leadership skills.
Customer Engagement:
- Models and promotes exemplary customer service standards, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
- Utilizes various sales techniques and product knowledge to assist customers in making informed merchandise selections.
- Addresses customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- Ensures a smooth and efficient checkout process, staying informed on payment policies and procedures.
- Encourages consistent customer communication through loyalty programs and engagement initiatives.
Talent Management:
- Assists in recruiting and developing a high-performing team.
- Supports training initiatives and provides follow-up to ensure effectiveness.
- Evaluates and coaches team performance regularly.
- Collaborates with the Store Manager to resolve HR-related issues promptly.
- Recognizes and rewards outstanding performance to enhance team engagement.
- Ensures adherence to employment practices and policies.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This position may involve various duties across different brands, and responsibilities may vary accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in retail management preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to adapt to company-provided technology.
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with a strong sales and leadership track record.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Knowledge of store operational processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Regular attendance is essential to meet operational needs.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
