At Gartner Consulting, the Global Strategy and Operations (GSO) team acts as the operational backbone of our consulting business. We are seeking a forward-thinking leader to join the GSO leadership team as VP, Consulting Operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales operational support – Assist our sales-focused Partners, ensure adherence to pricing strategy, and enhance sales and booking processes.
  • Risk Management – Establish and manage processes for compliance with regulations and client requirements, and oversee actions to mitigate reputation/financial risk.
  • Revenue Management – Minimize revenue leakage, oversee forecast accuracy and time entry.
  • Client Invoicing – Supervise invoicing from PO to final invoice, ensuring precision and client satisfaction.
  • Business Leader Support – Provide assistance to senior leaders as required.
  • Change Management Sponsorship – Lead organizational changes, process enhancements, and new capabilities.

Role Overview:
This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence and fostering the growth and success of our Consulting Business by focusing on:

  • Leadership: Define a vision and guide activities impacting a global team of 35+ associates.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as an operations and risk partner to Consulting's Executive and Senior Leadership teams and business collaborators.
  • Process Management: Enhance operations processes to bring stability to the business and facilitate growth.
  • Risk Oversight: Understand market regulations, manage risk operations effectively, and monitor procedures for enhancements.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Professional Services Automation Platform: Function as a process expert for supported functions and collaborate with business and technology leaders for system optimization.

Requirements:
