The Senior Strategy Director at Edge Direct collaborates with various teams within the Moore Enterprise to drive client success. This key role partners closely with the VP of Audience Strategy and other team members to ensure that all strategies and initiatives are in line with the client's objectives. By leveraging data analysis and expertise, the Senior Strategy Director identifies growth opportunities and enhancements, translating these insights into actionable recommendations that align with the client's goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish trusted relationships with key client contacts and internal team members.
  • Lead the strategic planning and implementation of initiatives and campaigns.
  • Deliver meaningful value to clients through innovative solutions and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop growth scenarios based on donor and channel trends to drive short- and long-term investments.
  • Create segmentation strategies for campaigns and collaborate with partner agencies on modeling when necessary.
  • Contribute to budget planning and develop strategies to meet financial goals.
  • Work with leadership and partners to execute plans effectively.
  • Analyze donor trends and translate them into strategic actions.
  • Track progress towards goals and make adjustments to strategies when needed.
  • Assist in crafting campaign strategies that align with client performance objectives.
  • Collaborate with analytics partners to evaluate program performance and make data-driven recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Perform additional duties as required, including client presentations and proposing innovative approaches.
  • Attend industry events to enhance expertise and share knowledge with colleagues.
Required Skills:
  • Prior experience in fundraising through direct mail is essential; familiarity with other channels is advantageous.
  • Thorough understanding of the nonprofit sector and its impact on program strategies.
    • Awareness of structural, cultural, and sector variations.
    • Knowledge of program scope and framework differences.
    • Familiarity with donor behavior and effective marketing tactics to engage donors.
  • Proficient in data analysis, particularly in Excel, with exposure to other reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients and teams.
  • Ability to generate actionable insights from data for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and creativity.
  • Self-motivated with a thirst for knowledge and superior persuasion abilities.
  • Open to feedback and adept at incorporating internal and external input.
  • Exhibits sound judgement and the capacity to make well-supported recommendations in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in direct response marketing.
  • 3+ years working in an agency or consulting role, concurrently is acceptable.
  • Proficiency in direct mail strategies and acquisition tactics is required.
  • Experience with digital, sustainer, event, or other strategies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
