JOB SUMMARY FOR PAYROLL SPECIALIST:

  • As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing weekly payroll for numerous US tax entities with minimal supervision and participating in special projects.
  • Compensation: $20/HR-W2
  • Duration: 3-month Contract potential of extension/conversion based on performance.
  • Hours: 8-4:30 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PAYROLL SPECIALIST:

  • Process weekly payroll for numerous US tax entities with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct necessary processes for payment of various salary components, including vacation pay, overtime, etc.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of legal charges and statutory withholdings (e.g., employee guarantee fund, social security, income tax, labor dues).
  • Calculate payments related to dismissals.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR PAYROLL SPECIALIST:

  • Proficiency in payroll processing software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR PAYROLL SPECIALIST:

  • MS Excel 1-3 Years Beginning level proficiency with Excel (perform basic formulas).
  • Payroll 1-3 Years.
  • Payroll systems 1-3 Years.
  • Associate's Degree 0-1 Years Associate's degree in accounting, business, finance or related field preferred.
