Everest Value School is looking for Playground staff for elementary and middle school.The playground position is Monday-Friday for 5hrs-8hrs for a competitive pay rate.
Playground Staff responsibilities include:
  • Monitor, supervise, and assist in student safety during outdoor student activities (Recess, Lunch).
  • Supervise students during breakfast, recess and lunch time, and students on the school grounds in general.
  • encourage and remind students of acceptable behavior.
  • ensure students remain in properly assigned areas.
  • ensure students keep the areas of activities clean and organized.
  • report any unsafe conditions or equipment on the playground or any other areas as deemed necessary to the playground supervisor.
  • report all accidents or injuries to proper authority and complete appropriate form(s).
  • provide first-aid assistance for accidents.
  • instruct and monitor students in their proper conduct on the playground areas and when participating in student games.
  • Knowledge of basic: school safety rules, principles of first aid, and understanding of child growth; development, and attitudes.
  • maintain acceptable standards of behavior among students in the playground.
  • Work cooperatively with playground team.
  • Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
  • Assist in assignments from leadership team.

Qualifications:
  • Desire to work with students grades TK-8th.
  • Ability to adapt to school requirements and needs.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
