WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Manage daily activities of the Concrete Placing Services Department to provide maximum pump truck utilization and driver efficiencies as well as assist with customer service management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the staffing, training reviews, and discipline of shipping personnel
  • Managing the daily activities of shipping personnel.
  • Be responsible for maximum truck utilization, and driver efficiencies.
  • Prepare daily driver call outs.
  • Manage to minimize driver idle time.
  • Assist in entering placing requests, mixes into the computer, preparing project sheets, and running daily reports.
  • Seek ways to improve relationships with the customer base, sales department, and engineering services.
  • May perform additional duties assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of customer service, and shipping duties.
  • Background managing call center activity.
  • Knowledge of concrete basics.
  • Knowledge of dispatching, software, Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of phone system related to call center needs.
  • Read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to understand and utilize graphs, charts, and printed data related to call center effectiveness.
  • Ability to react quickly to a constantly changing business environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to work well in stressful situations.
  • Extensive computer, and phone communications.
  • Possible long days, and flexible starting times.
  • Some after hours customer and company meetings.
