Job Summary

To actively support and promote TCC Materials' product lines with outside sales and other members of the distribution team. Primary emphasis is placed upon providing both external communications and internal support of corporate activities.

Daily administrative and support services, assigned sales analysis, order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, proposal, and quote preparation to achieve the sales and contribution objectives of the company.

This role is a key corporate position that will manage the day-to-day customer calls and support of both regional and national accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routinely field incoming calls, emails, and faxes from both internal and external customers.
  • Log questions, issues, and resolutions onto a shared document to track follow-up, resolutions, and identify potential product issues.
  • Work closely with the dispatch, production, and outside sales representatives to assist with sales order entry, BOM requests, incomplete orders, submittal requests to facilitate a timely and accurate order-fulfillment process.
  • Use Netsuite ERP system daily to manage product and pricing information.
  • Develop technical and application knowledge of TCC Materials' product lines to properly service customer needs.
  • Identify potential growth opportunities from inquiries and reach out to the correct Corporate Manager to handle as needed.
  • Assist in the creation of pricing quotes and annual pricing documents.
  • Manage distribution of pricing documents to customers as needed.
  • Assist with the creation of sales reports and forecasts including various types of graphs, spreadsheets, and diagrams.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all critical information.
  • Attend sales meetings.
  • Prepare reporting and information prior to meeting.
  • Manage/coordinate information and tasks discussed during meetings.
  • Create and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all inside and outside sales roles and other relevant procedures to maintain consistent, effective sales efforts.
  • Cross-train duties with other corporate team members to effectively fill in for each other as needed.
  • Keep accurate and timely records and prepare/update required account contact documentation.
  • Utilize Prophet CRM daily to log customer activity.
  • Work with others on the corporate team to support corporate activities including shipping samples and other collateral, collecting incoming parcels, ordering supplies, and travel and event planning.
  • Perform all tasks with great attention to detail, proper formatting, and correct grammar.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers.
  • Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company and ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • College degree required, and 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Knowledge/experience in the commercial and residential construction materials industry preferred.
  • Evidence of leadership and professionalism, critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail is critical.
  • Working knowledge of PC Windows environment including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, computer literate with the ability to analyze and manage data.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, suppliers, and other employees of the organization.
