Energy Contracts Coordinator

Primary Services is excited to announce the position of Contracts Analyst for our esteemed client. Join a dynamic team where your expertise in contract administration and commercial operations will be paramount. As a Contracts Analyst, you will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including Pricing, Sales Support, and cross-functional groups, to ensure the seamless execution of retail sales account activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and process commercial sales agreement change documents, such as Adds/Deletes, Assignment & Assumptions, and other amendments, in line with established SLAs.
  • Review sections of contracts and grasp specific contract terms to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Calculate early termination fees with precision and attention to detail.
  • Resolve processing issues on completed commercial sales agreements internally, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Research and address contract inquiries and disputes from internal parties promptly and effectively.
  • Provide assistance in other areas requiring additional attention, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in the electricity sector, preferably in commercial operations and contract administration.
  • Optional but preferred: Development capability.
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, ISONE, and CAISO markets.
  • Proficiency in Sales Force, Intelometry, Smartsheet, or equivalent contract management systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a focus on clarity and efficiency in internal and external communications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop practical solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving team goals and objectives.
  • Self-motivated individual dedicated to continuous improvement and knowledge enhancement.
