Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Phase I Environmental Site Assessment field assessment, historical research, and report writing.
  • Collect field data including air, soil, and groundwater sample collection, logging of soil borings and monitoring wells, site inspections.
  • Prepare sections of Phase II reports.
  • Provide billable administrative support to Project Managers as requested.
  • Become thoroughly familiar with Atlas policies and procedures.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Geology, Engineering or Environmental Sciences
  • 3-5+ years experience with Phase I ESAs, Phase IIs, site investigations, including site visits and report writing
  • Valid US Drivers license.
  • Perform field work under limited supervision and in accordance with Atlas and Client safety protocol.
  • Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects with minimal supervision to meet established criteria.
  • 40 hr. OSHA HAZWOPER certification, current HAZWOPER refresher
  • Working knowledge of TCEQ regulations

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other widely used computer programs.
  • Working knowledge of EDRs Parcel and Quire Platforms .
  • Excellent skills in technical writing and verbal communications.

Other Miscellaneous Qualities:

  • Ability to travel up to 30%, mostly within Texas and Oklahoma.
  • Desire to obtain relevant professional registration or certification, if not already obtained.
