Job Description

Schedule: Monday 8:30AM-4:30PM

Oversee transportation for residents, providing quality service to and from appointments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with residents to schedule daily transportation.
  • Communicate with drivers throughout the day to give directions for the schedule.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles for safety and cleanliness.
  • Assist the director with input on driver performance.
  • Drive vehicle according to assigned schedule, assisting residents in and out of the vehicle.
  • Secure passengers' wheelchairs during trips.
  • Maintain community vehicles and coordinate cleaning and maintenance.
  • Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewal.
  • Inspect and document vehicle condition regularly.
  • Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
  • Provide pick-up and delivery services as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Acceptable driving record per Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Customer service experience, preferable in a senior living setting.
  • Minimum 21 years old.
