Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our team at Southland Holdings. As a Skid Steer Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining skid steer equipment to perform various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain skid steer equipment to perform tasks such as excavation, grading, and material handling.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • 1-5 years of operating experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate multiple attachments.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
