This opportunity is based in Casper, WY at our JW Williams facility.

**Competitive salary based on experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review specifications or blueprints to identify necessary materials.
  • Position and secure structural steel elements for welding or riveting.
  • Hoist and place steel components with cranes or hoisting equipment.
  • Weld and manipulate steel pieces for assembly.
  • Assemble and dismantle structures as needed.
  • Fabricate metal parts according to guidelines.
  • Perform various welding tasks for different projects.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Maintain welding equipment and perform necessary maintenance tasks.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and identify flaws in welds.
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment required for welding processes.
  • Perform tests and inspections to ensure quality standards.
  • Understanding of metal properties and safety precautions.
  • Skilled in using power tools and equipment safely.
REQUIREMENTS FOR WELDER 1 ROLE:

EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • 1-4 years of experience in Vessel Fabrication.
  • Pass AWS/ASME 1 6G GMAW/FCAW weld assessment.
  • Maintain a high acceptability rate in NDE weld tests.
REQUIREMENTS FOR WELDER 3 ROLE:

EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Technical training preferred.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in multiple welding processes with ability to pass 2 6G tests.
  • Demonstrate welding skills by performing ASME & AWS Code weld tests.
  • Maintain high acceptability in NDE weld tests.
  • Ability to mentor other welders.
**Salary is negotiable based on experience
