Job Summary

Westerman, Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder - Piping Specialist to join our team at our JW Williams facility in Casper, WY. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling structural steel components, piping systems, and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine material requirements and assembly procedures.
  • Fabricate and assemble structural steel components, including beams, girders, and columns, using metal shears, torches, and welding equipment.
  • Weld piping systems, including separators, glycol absorbers, and large and heavy wall vessels, using various welding processes.
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with production team members to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pipe welding and structural steel fabrication.
  • Ability to clear a weld assessment screening, including 6G Pass Code with 2 of 4 processes with visual and bend assessment (GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW).
  • Ability to maintain 95% NDE acceptance criteria.
