SUMMARY:
Leading and coordinating the operations of the quality control department and staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directing and coordinating quality control activities to achieve company objectives.
  • Maintaining and reporting quality system requirements.
  • Evaluating and improving department procedures and practices. Developing and implementing quality control systems.
  • Reviewing and preparing protocols, SOPs, product specifications, and batch records.
  • Ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations and SOPs.
  • Identifying technical issues and solutions.
  • Reviewing and overseeing data generated for method validation and studies.
  • Managing laboratory equipment maintenance and GMP audits.
  • Hiring, training, supervising, and developing quality control staff.
  • Managing budgets, schedules, and workflow. Providing guidance and promoting performance.
  • Monitoring team activities and taking corrective actions. Performing other assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors/Ph.D./M.S. in related field with 2-6 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, GMPs, and FDA regulations.
  • Experience in statistical analysis and research and development.
  • Proficiency in supervision, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and handle multiple projects.
  • Skilled in data analysis, project organization, and report development.
