Location: New York, New York (In person)

Job Type: Part-time internship (~10hrs/wk)

Job Description:

Are you a creative and outgoing individual with a passion for social media? We are seeking Content Interns to join our team in NYC. In this role, you will be tasked with leading our content creation and social media efforts, filming TikToks, Instagram posts, and more with the goal of promoting Plate. Friends and groups are welcome to apply - we are looking to hire 2-3 individuals.

About Plate:

Plate is a social marketplace for consumers to shop, share, and review influencer recipes originating on social media. We are launching this summer in NYC.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging and innovative content for TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • Film and edit short-form videos and posts - this includes being in front of and behind the camera.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content ideas.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for social media and content creation + comfortable in front of the camera
  • Outgoing, creative, and willing to engage in conversation with community members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with filming and editing videos/creating content is a plus.
