JOB DESCRIPTIONJoin FOX News Media's dynamic Social Media team As a Social Media Content Creator, you will be part of a team responsible for creating digital-first, innovative social media content for multiple platforms. You will play a key role in our social media content strategy to drive engagement, brand awareness, and growth.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Pitch social media content that aligns with the brand, target audience, and business goals Produce, shoot, and edit engaging short and long-form video content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Snapchat, and TikTok Write compelling scripts and concise copy that resonate with the target audience Use analytics and social media insights to monitor the performance of content and make data-driven optimizations Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the content stays innovative and relevant Maintain a consistent brand image and voice across all social media platforms Collaborate on innovative video projects and brainstorm ideas to bring in new audiences for Fox's digital platforms Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the content aligns with overall brand messaging and marketing campaigns Attend events and produce real-time content in the field when necessary WHAT YOU WILL NEED Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience 3+ years of proven experience in social media content creation in a fast-paced corporate environment Strong understanding of all social media platforms and best practices Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling and shareable content Strong editorial judgment and a commitment to accuracy Skilled in using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop for vertical video production and graphic templates Proficient in using social media management/in-app editing tools and analytics platforms Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Passion for social media, digital marketing, and emerging trends in the digital landscape Confident in working with on-air talent Flexibility in schedule to work holidays and weekends when necessary, and to shift your schedule as news, events, and projects warrant #LI-DNI We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $55, ,500.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
