Position Summary

Samsung Ads is powered by more than 50M Smart TVs and 200M connected devices, with the industry's largest first party ACR data set. We help marketers reach viewers and support experiences across the modern media landscape. The business has grown 10x since 2015 and is poised for continued rocket-ship momentum.

The Opportunity

As Product Manager, Ad Serving, you will design and deliver business-critical systems which touch millions of people around the world every day. You will make an outsize impact by optimizing our ad decision systems and ad decision mechanics. You will partner closely with cross-functional global teams, external partners, and customers to identify opportunities to drive our business forward.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with engineering and data science teams to deliver new ad decision systems and to optimize ad serving results
  • Embody excellence in product management through effective partnership, planning, communication, and oversight of feature development
  • Own the high-level product roadmap and set engineering up for success by breaking bigger initiatives into epics and stories
  • Be a context multiplier. Engage widely with your stakeholders and be an advocate for viewers, advertisers, and internal teams.
  • Present to senior leadership and demo new features and functionality to a broad audience
  • Collaborate with distributed teams in the US, Europe and other locations
  • Stay on top of trends in the advertising industry
  • Define metrics and KPIs you will use to measure the success of your products
Experience
  • 6+ years of professional experience in cross-functional technical roles; or 4+ years with an MBA.
  • Prior experience as a PM is preferred
  • Experience in ad tech, streaming video, app development, or other web-scale technologies
  • Prior experience working directly with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders in sales or partnerships
  • Proven strengths in analytics and technical problem-solving
  • Hands-on experience with any of: basic SQL, APIs, BI development, web development, scripting languages
  • Experience in Agile product development
  • Ability to balance concurrent projects and manage tradeoffs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
CALIFORNIA AND NEW YORK ONLY

Compensation for this role is expected to be between $140,000 and $175,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
