The Role
In the capacity of Product Manager for Advertising Solutions, you will spearhead the design, development, and expansion of our self-service advertising platform. Collaborating closely with global teams, external partners, and clients, you will identify avenues to leverage Samsung's unique data and media assets, facilitating seamless advertising transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the design and development of our self-service advertising platform.
- Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and UX Design and Research teams to create and deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Work in tandem with engineering teams to introduce innovative performance advertising solutions.
- Engage cross-functionally with global teams in engineering, design, product marketing, and sales to gather requirements and pinpoint opportunities for revenue enhancement and improved user experience.
- Analyze business challenges or management goals that can be addressed through data insights.
- Oversee technical project execution, ensuring compliance with budget, timeline, and scope.
- Champion the complete user experience, advocating for user needs across business and development contexts.
- Present updates and demonstrations of new features to senior leadership and a diverse audience.
- Manage the overarching product roadmap, breaking down larger initiatives into actionable tasks for engineering teams.
- Foster effective collaboration with distributed teams across various regions.
- Communicate product strategies, plans, and progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay informed on trends within the advertising sector.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of your products.
- A minimum of 4 years in Product Management or Technical Product Management, with at least 2 years in digital advertising or AdTech.
- At least 2 years of experience with Ad Manager, ideally in developing customer-facing demand-side advertising platform interfaces.
- Educational background in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Proven track record of end-to-end product delivery, demonstrating the impact of launched products.
- Experience in delivering platform-based user interfaces, from initial discovery and design to release and performance measurement.
- Proficient in owning a complete product lifecycle and formulating roadmap strategies.
- Familiarity with Agile product development or lean startup methodologies.
- Understanding of existing and competitive performance advertising solutions.
- Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and making trade-offs effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
