Job Description:

  • Conduct transition activities to assist the VA, including standardized VA Benefits and Services Briefings
  • Deliver one-on-one engagements and pre-separation counseling
  • Participate in military life cycle events and Capstone events
  • Provide warm-handover support
  • Act as an entry-level instructor following established curriculum and training tools
  • Ensure course content and delivery methods align with training objectives

Responsibilities:

  • Execute non-event Activities at the assigned installation
  • Attend weekly Site Lead meetings
  • Perform quality management activities at the assigned installation and across the program
  • Conduct onsite activities and post-event data collection activities

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated understanding and application of adult learning theories
  • Familiarity with transitioning Service member populations
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Strong customer management and support skills
  • Experience in delivering interactive workshops and training to live audiences

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years' equivalent work/military experience
  • Preference for expertise in Training, Education, Career Counseling, or HR
  • Appropriate certifications

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of VA benefits programs
  • Experience in working with military clients and understanding of the military
  • Awareness of current veteran issues and challenges pre- and post-transitions
