About the Position:

  • Handle tool and equipment check-in and check-out processes
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory checks
  • Manage the stock of consumable items in the tool room
  • Facilitate purchase orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the tool room
  • Inspect and document fork trucks and cranes daily
  • Operate fork trucks and overhead cranes for loading and unloading tasks
  • Conduct inventories of tool and equipment boxes
  • Coordinate equipment repairs
  • Construct shipping crates as required
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow instructions from the Tool Room Attendant
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs manually
  • Proficiency in operating fork trucks and overhead cranes
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary
  • Experience in a similar role within an industrial setting preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
