Description: Join our team as a Student Engagement Specialist with the Promise Zone Program. In this role, you will collaborate with school teams to provide social, behavioral, and mental health support to students in need. By implementing trauma-informed interventions, you will help students grow in a supportive school environment, making a positive impact on their lives and the community.

CCSI is partnering with Onondaga County Children and Family Services to hire dedicated Student Engagement Specialists for the school-based Promise Zone Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify students requiring support
  • Implement tailored intervention strategies
  • Monitor effectiveness and make adjustments
  • Engage with students and families
  • Collaborate with school administrators and social workers
  • Support a culturally inclusive school climate
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Human Services, Education, or related field
  • 2 years of professional experience working with school-age youth
  • Completion of background screenings
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19
