Key Responsibilities- Proactive Identification and Support: Proactively identify students who require social, behavioral, and mental health support and connect them with opportunities for growth and development within a school's multi-tiered system of support.
- Intervention Strategies: Implement intervention strategies as developed and shared with the school support teams, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Family Engagement: Engage students and families to foster positive home-school connections, promoting a collaborative approach to support student success.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with school administrators, social workers, and other school team members to ensure service expectations are met and maintain open communication channels.
- Resource and Support: Serve as a resource to faculty regarding social and behavioral concerns of youth, providing guidance and support to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Culturally Inclusive Climate: Support the implementation of a culturally inclusive and supportive school climate that centers on the voices and needs of youth, promoting a sense of belonging and empowerment.
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Human Services, Education, or a related field, with 2 years of professional experience working with school-age youth, or equivalent education and work experience.
- Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 virus, with reasonable accommodations made for qualified religious, medical, or medical/disability needs.
